This book reminds families that bonding experiences in life are not about extravagence, but about love and time

Customer, - January 27, 2004

This book allows parents to open it, read a few pages and have immediate ideas on how to connect to their children. I love this book because there are days when I know that I need to do someting out of the ordinary to connect with a child, but I don't have time to plan a big elaborate event. These ideas are meaningful in their simplicity and availability. I have enjoyed being able to stop my busy life and take twenty minuted to draw chalk pictures on a sidewalk or lay on the grass and watch the clouds with one of my children. This book reminds us to do the little things that are memorable because the moment seems right. This book reminds families that the bonding experiences in life are not about extravagence, but about love and time.
