About the Author
Sheri Dew is a native of Ulysses, Kansas, and a graduate of Brigham Young University. She has authored several books, including the biographies of two presidents of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Presidents Gordon B. Hinckley and Ezra Taft Benson. Her most recent books are God Wants a Powerful People and Saying It Like It Is. Sheri was named the president and CEO of Deseret Book Company in March 2002. She also serves as a member of both the BYU Marriott School of Management’s National Advisory Council and the President’s Leadership Council for BYU-Hawaii. In March 2003 the White House appointed her as a member of the U.S. Delegation to the Commission on the Status of Women and Girls at the United Nations.

I have listened to this twice since I got it and plan on listening at least twice more. Sheri always knows what to say and how to say it. Spiritually uplifting and thought provoking. A must for any Sheri Dew fan.
Just what I needed to hear

One of my dear friends handed me this CD to listen to. It was exactly what I needed at the time I listened to it. Sherri is such an uplifting speaker. When she was talking about the fast for the Young Women to receive a testimony that they are daughters of God, the Spirit witnessed to me that I too am a daughter of God. I will soon own a copy.

This CD hit the nail on the head for me and gave me great strength to continue the fight for good in the world. A relevant message for all women - why do we nitpick on each other when there are noble battles to be fought? I especially connected with Sister Dew's feelings on being a 50-something LDS single. I'm planning on buying copies for all of my friends. Great job, Sister Dew!
