From dean of the Harvard Business School to president of BYU-Idaho,
Kim B. Clark has had a career filled with pressures of one kind or
another. He describes a particularly stressful time: "One night, I awoke from
what must have been a nightmare. I felt very anxious, worried, beset with
strange thoughts and feelings of dread and darkness. . . . I rolled out of bed
onto my knees and asked Heavenly Father to help me. . . . As I got up, a
phrase of scripture came into my mind. It was just a fragment, but it was
the key I needed: 'For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this
world . . .' (Ephesians 6:12)." The author's personal quest, born that night,
to understand the armor of God became this thought-provoking and uniquely
helpful book.

A Sleeper and a Keeper
Jana, VA - January 31, 2012
I bought this book on a huge sale, so I'm assuming it was a "Sleeper." I have loved reading the book. It spoke to me even though my life experiences have been very different from the author's, which denotes to me he is speaking with Spirit. It's easy to be intimidated by President Clark at first notice, but he truly reveals himself, weaknesses and all, in the book and shows how we can be safe and progress in these latter days. Loved it.
