I love this album because David's vocals are magical. He puts so much of himself into every song and then exposes his passion to the listener. Truly a work of art by a gifted artist. I have all of David's music and listen to them often.

A wonderful choice of songs that give evidence to the beautiful sounds of David Archuleta. Pure, heartfelt, perfection, sung with love, a view of who David his. He has a way of laying his "soul" bare for all to see. Broken brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. Invisible children is one of my favorite charities because of David. He sings with such feeling and mastery of the music. I have purchased three copies of this album and will purchase at least two more. They will be gifts to friends and family. I listen to the album almost every day of the week and never tire of it and never will.

mature smooth sound

I was in Deseret Book today in Idaho Falls, they were playing "Begin". Archuleta's voice is developing a mature, richer sound. Song choices also very good.

I'm in love with this CD. David's choice of songs is exceptional. It's hard to pick a favorite out of all these incredible choices. The one real surprise is PRIDE/In The Name of Love ~ blew me away from first listen..still does. I'm so grateful to him for taking his last few weeks to record this beautiful/heartfelt collection for his fans. He's simply the BEST!

David sings these inspirational songs so beautifully. Each song has such meaning for David and he recorded them up until the night before he left for his Mission to serve in South America. Each song has a message so meaningful that anyone could benifit from the CD. I know I have. These songs while inspirational can be appreciated no matter what the listener's religious beliefs. This makes for an Ideal gift as well for any age group. The songs are also available as a single download.

David Archuleta's voice continues to amaze me and simply soars on BEGIN.! The way he can share such emotion through his interpretation of the lyrics on each of these songs is incredible! Kurt Bestor's gorgeous arrangements on this CD mesh perfectly with David's stunning vocals. The entire CD has an inspirational, relaxing tone to it. Yet, there is also something really special about it that makes me want to join David in song.

You can feel David's heart. What a gift he is to us. I love this album and feel so grateful to have it. I have been listening to it in my car since I purchased it and enjoy it even more after listening to it a hundred times.
