disappointed

I waited 4 months after the birth of our baby to get a baby book--hoping this one would be like the old blue and pink books or perhaps the striped books by Bookcraft. I was very disappointed. Keeping track of every month for the first year is way too much. Not enough room for pictures like they used to have. I do not like this format.
Nice but I want loose-leaf

I recently went into my local DB to buy a baby book and looked at this one but decided against it. I'm pregnant with my third child, so I already have 2 baby books and know what I like in them. The most important thing to me in a baby book is that it is loose-leaf. It's so much easier to take each page out when you work on it so that you're not struggling to write nicely in the binding, and also so you can add special mementos and such to the back of the book. Nice contents, but I hope they make a loose-leaf version. Then I'd probably buy it.
Good for keeping notes

I have two albums for my two children. There is not a whole lot of space for writing, but you can capture the highlights. I like the questions it prompts you to answer, and ways to keep track of your baby's first year. If you plan to write more, get a separate journal. This is a great way to keep track of milestones. It is mostly for young babies, with less space as they child gets older. I am glad I bought and filled out both of my baby albums. It helps me remember things I would otherwise forget. And I'm excited to share these with my kids when they are older.

OK so you finally got the pink and blue books back BUT. The inside is EXACTLY the same as the other book. The page for the general authorities is a little space to write on. the color is not a bright pink as shown in the picture it is more a deep light pink and the green edging stands out more than the pink. If I could've seen it before I ordered it I'd have had second thoughts. I need a baby book for my little girl very much and it will have to do. I wish there was more things in the book that related more to the church. That is the main purpose in ordering this. Also - the wording and pictures on the pages aren't very bright; the kind of fade into the pages. Hard to see.Go get something else and put the LDS information you want in the empty pages. This is more of a journalizing book - not a picture book like it used to be. I wanted room for pics.

Pink, blue, and green

I'm actually really disappointed that the green album has been discontinued. I don't know why things have to be either pink or blue. We are expecting our first baby in a few weeks and I really loved the other book, which I can't get anymore. We don't know what we are having and I wanted to be able to start putting things in the book and writing down things that are happening now, before the baby comes. I think there's no reason why all three books can't be available. I think that there would be enough for each of them.

What a nice way to write down and record lots of thoughts and memories, for your child to read later on in life. I love going back and reading things that I have written about my kids.
