About the Author
With 12 children between them, it’s amazing that Whitney Permann, Brooke Stone, and Soni Muller have time for anything other than runny noses, sock hunts, and prying suckers off the van floor. But music has been a part of each of their lives since childhood, and is now a strong presence in their homes. The three friends met while singing in the Jenny Phillips Choir and there found a common love for tight harmonies and sharing the gospel through song. Over the past four years, Mercy River has traveled all over the United States and Canada as a highly sought after ensemble, performing for thousands of people while testifying of the Savior. Each member of the group brings several years of experience performing, writing, and directing hundreds of firesides and concerts—as well as recording on dozens of inspirational albums. Their self-titled debut album was released in May 2008, and their popular second album, “Beautiful Dawn,” was released in March of 2010.
Whitney resides in Spanish Fork and loves buttery popcorn. Soni lives in Farmington and loves her bed. Brooke lives in Layton and loves her Kitchenaid.

This is SUCH a beautiful cd. I absolutely love it! It's been a while since I've bought a cd that I want to play over and over again. The songs are inspiring, uplifting, and gorgeous. I get chills, they are so powerful. These women have incredible voices and you can feel their testimonies through their music. I recommend this cd to all ages. It has a great variety of types of songs, even some hymns. And you will be blown away by the harmonies!!!
This one's a toughy

This album is hard for me to review. Because there are some songs that are superb (like the beautiful "Echoes" and nice arrangements of hymns "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing," "Nearer My God to Thee," and "My Heavenly Father Loves Me."). But then there are some songs that are just plain weird. "All I Need" sounds like she's singing about a boyfriend. But she's talking about God. That's weird. Some songs are too "pop" sounding to be inspirational. No one wants to rock out when we should be reverent! All in all, I'll give it a 50%. 2 1/2 stars out of 5. (Really beautiful harmonies though!)

These girls have such GORGEOUS harmonies!! My favorite songs are 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 10.
Beautiful Indeed

I love the many new and unique songs this CD has. From the opening song to the last I felt like I was on a journey and not just listening to another CD. I especially enjoyed the way the music took me from the beginning of a beautiful dawn...through a blessed life... and then to the most triumphant dawn of all. My favorites were 1-2-5-10-11. Wonderful contribution to the world. Thank you ladies & thanks to all those fabulous musicians, arrangers and writers.
