    Breathtaking

Cactus puts his own brand on beloved hymns. I heard his music before and as beautiful as it was then, it became even more so when it was attached to the humble strength of his testimony and faith. Buy the CD. You won't regret it. And don't miss a chance to attend a Cactus Jack performance or fireside. It will change your whole outlook, inspire you and reconnect you with that forgotten drive to fulfill your purpose and to dare to live your righteous dreams.

"A Carpenter's Hymns" is the most amazing NEW CD by Paul Cactus-Jack La MARR!!! I bought the CD expecting it to be good. What I was not expecting was for it to be Incredible! Seriously, the emotion, the beauty of the melody, the quality in the sound, the moving lyrics all bring such peace to your spirit! I can literally listen to all day and never get tired of it! Listening to his voice is healing. I wish I could give it 10 stars! If you don't know what to purchase for a family member, a friend, and/or someone you love....consider this CD! I made one mistake and that was not buying 2 of them...one for the house and one for my car! Thank you, Cactus for the great music! I hope another album is coming! I will be first in line to get it! WOW!!!

    Makes your heart Smile!

The first time I heard 'O My Father' I couldn't hold back the tears! This wonderful man has brought his own style to the hymns on this CD, and in that creative process made them speak to the soul. He has such a quiet peaceful smooth voice that the spirit just reaches out and touches you in a deeply profound way. It's perfect music for every single day, in the car to work, picking up the kids, around the house! My teenage girls love him too!

Something for everyone on this album

Orchestral music, lyrical solos, a capella choir and quartet, even a Gospel take on a classic hymn. I keep forgetting to change CDs in my car because I like this one.
