About the Author
Amazing, detailed book about mental disorders.
by Katie - reviewed on February 07, 2011
I'm 26 and I struggle with OCD/Anxiety & Depression. I was diagnosed at 21 when I was so depressed (for no good reason) that I wanted to die. I had followed all spiritual advice and council, done all I was supposed to be doing and I was feeling such anguish that there had to be something more going on with me. This book fills in and explains why some people cannot just get better mentally. There is much more going in the chemistry of the brain, this book sheds light on people like me. It gives a clinical look into the mind of those who hopelessly struggle with these mental disorders. It explains the nature of them in the brain and offers proof to those who are skeptical and provides some suggestions for help. I wish all of my family would read this to understand that it is my mind that relentlessly perpetuates of my heart aches.
