I've been waiting over a year for this cookbook--ever since I heard it was in the works. It's absolutely gorgeous and the recipes are to die for!
Not worth the price

I was excited when I received this book as a birthday gift because of my love for chocolate. It's fun to read all the way through but then I started trying out the recipes and they are less than 'sumptuous', they are awful. I follow recipes to the letter and use good ingredients but I was still disappointed. The hot cocoa recipe has no flavor and was actually horrible. The cupcake recipe says to bake at 400' so they burn at the time given. I changed the oven to 350' (which is normal for cupcakes) and cut the time down, then they turned out fine. This recipe book needs to go through rigorous testing by a third party and revised before selling to the public.
Even the kids used it!

We have tried many of these recipes and they have all worked wonderfully. In fact there are two loaves of chocolate banana bread in the over right now. My wife has used this the most, but the boys and I recently tried the microwave chocolate cake and it was great. If you love chocolate you will love this cookbook.

How can you go wrong with a cookbook that has "chocolate" in the title! I just bought it for my mom, but I have to admit I've peeked at the recipes and want to try them out for myself!
Delicious, Divine, Decadent

I cannot make the recipes in this book fast enough. There hasn't been a bad one in the bunch, and I love that some are so very simple and fast, while others take a little more time and are more impressive. The title, Chocolate Never Faileth, is right on. This book hasn't failed me yet.

many of the recipes are confusing or seem to have some ingredients misprinted or left out. a few recipes have turned out ok but the instructions are not always clear. they are tasty but nothing to rave about. a few did not turn out at all. it's a pretty book with scalloped pages and is spiral bound so it is functional.

This book is too pretty for words! I like to collect cook books for myself but never really thought of them as gifts until I saw this beautiful book. What an amazing Christmas gift this will be for my sisters and good friends. Full of amazing pictures, cute stories and funny quotes I laughed out loud as I read a cook book. We have made a commitment as a family to work our way throught CNF with a different chocolate dessert each Sunday. It's nice to have goals : )
Fun for Creative People!

This book is written for people who love to be creative and it serves both experienced "chocolate dessert makers" and newbies! It's written to be REAL enough for most households--so you won't be running all over town (or the web) to find obscure tools or ingredients. And the book is cute enough to display on your kitchen counter--so when you pick up the book, pick up a book easel, too!
