Talented composer and musician Marshall McDonald has written and/or arranged thirteen songs inspired by the book This Is the Christ. Each of these beautiful compositions was prepared specifically for a corresponding painting and reflects the mood and feeling of the illustration. A full string ensemble, an occasional violin or cello, and other instrumentation add variety and complement Marshall’s remarkable talents on the piano.
