If Ashley Matthews can’t find a job soon, she may lose what little she has, including her beloved dog, Dash. As Christmas approaches, her grandfatherly neighbor, Nick, hires her as his assistant. Ashley thinks the seasonal job will be busywork until Nick confides in her that he’s a billionaire who uses his wealth to help others.

Journalist Will Price thinks he’s struck gold at work with a new cover story, but has a rude awakening when the story’s fallout lands him a demotion. Determined to make it back on top, luck comes his way when he stumbles into Ashley and Nick. His journalistic instincts lead him to investigate these new friends in hope of uncovering a phenomenal story.

Ashley must learn the ropes of becoming a “Christmas Angel”—anonymously serving others—while keeping Will from writing about what she and Nick do. As Will puts the pieces together, he must decide if his career is worth more than Ashley’s trust and love.
