I LOVED this book! The whole idea behind this book is truly inspired. That God can strengthen ALL His children, not just his sons, is a wonderful concept. Mrs. Moncur has taken a well-known, well-loved story from the scriptures and has shared an interesting insight - namely that while these wonderful mothers were teaching their sons to have faith, they were teaching their daughters as well. She has created characters that capture your heart. Keturah, Gideon and Zeke are wonderfully complex and engaging. I can't wait to read more from Mrs. Moncur!

This is a love story, dealing with many aspects of Keturah's life. Her love for her family, Zeke, and her people. It is a fictional story that gives readers something to chew and enjoy. The story of the stripling warriors is an exciting classic. Mrs. Moncur has now given readers another view of faith promoting principals through Daughter of Helaman
