Great Book for Women

by Customer - reviewed on September 10, 2008

I love this book. You can tell that Michael Wilcox has a understanding of the women in the scriptures. He brings their stories to life. I loved reading about women that I knew little or nothing about. The best thing is that it is separated out into small chapters so those with busy lives can sit down and read a small chapter when they have time.

Insightful

by Customer - reviewed on September 24, 2008

This book is wonderful because it gives real-life applications of the scriptures, set among eloquent descriptions of the women who walked with, loved, and looked to Christ. I especially like how S. M. Wilcox portrays each woman the best possible that she could've been.

Makes for a good read

by SM - reviewed on October 09, 2008

Author goes through all the women of the scriptures, even the most remote of names and draws lessons from their lives though in a few cases he has to stretch it to come up with a lesson but all in all it gives food for thought and is definitely worth the read.
