Daughters in My Kingdom, published by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, perfectly outlines the history and work of Relief Society. It especially focuses on Emma Smith and her service as a contributor to the divine organization of the Relief Society. Information is given on how the organization came about, how it was divinely inspired, and how it is thriving today. Throughout the book, many righteous Relief Society sisters are recognized as their personal experiences are shared about how the Relief Society has blessed them in their lives. These women experienced many challenges and tribulations that develop into strengths that have continually blessed their lives.
Many topics are addressed such as: the importance of visiting teaching, the divine roles that women are given, the importance of cleaving unto the Covenants, the protection sisterhood provides each sister with, as well as many other uplifting teachings.
