This garment bag is designed for women. It fits a full-lenght dress but folds to a compact shoulder bag. It has an easy accessible zippered pocket on the outside front (when folded) that has separated pouches for temple recommend and name cards. When opened has four mesh zippered pockets for packet, shoes and accessories. It has a pocket on top right that can be used for a mirror. It is structurally sound, with thought given to stress points and less repair. It is made for the clothes to be slipped in on their own hanger through the webbing loop. This garment bag also allows the user to hang the bag and clothes in her closet and fold and take directly to the temple, saving time of unpacking and repacking the clothes. Also, when folded it is compact and flat so, if traveling, can easily fit in a suitcase or be used as a carry-on.

Too hard to fold for carrying

Chris, AP - August 19, 2009

I bought this bag because it is very attractive, has fairly large pockets to hold the temple pouch and slippers, and I really liked the large straps. However, this bag has become impractical for me to use at the temple. The biggest problem lies in trying to fold the bag up once the clothes are packed inside. It is next to impossible to do so inside the tiny lockers we have here in Tokyo- I imagine it would be difficult in other temple lockers as well. To fold it requires going to the table and laying the bag flat, thus exposing everything packed inside, to fold the bag closed for carrying. Also, it's not easy to find the right places to fold the bag since there are no creases or seams at those places. It's a bit awkward to use.
