Ever Onward: Music for Missionaries

I usually like David Glen Hatch's music and bought this CD anticipating the same excellent work but I was very disappointed with the musical arrangements. Each movement feels delayed, like he's looking at the music to see what should come next before he plays it. It doesn't flow well at all and I find myself feeling like I do when my kids practice piano and are trying to work it out.
There's also a track with a child singing on it, awful.... I couldn't find the skip button fast enough. I've taken it out of my car cd player, if I could return it, I would.
