Farm Wisdom for City Folks (Talk on CD)
Some of the best teachings, stories, and examples we hear in the Church come from those whose work ethic was forged in the rigors of farm life.
What is it about farm life that has taught us some of our most enduring lessons about life and work? And what can you do if you weren't raised on a farm? Using the scriptures, powerful stories, and his characteristic humor, John Bytheway outlines lessons learned from farm life, including a strong work ethic, the law of the harvest, and self-reliance. The good news is, whether you were raised on a farm or not, you can still benefit from the lessons to be learned there.

I loved this CD. It has great lessons to be learned. Especially in the age of entitlement in which we live. Young and old alike will enjoy John's inspiring stories and examples of the important lessons he wants his children to learn -such as self-reliance and a strong work ethic. John Bytheway's talks on CD never disappoint!

This is a great cd to listen to any time, its entertaining yet insightful and teaches you all at the same time. The messages that John shares inspire you and cause you to reflect. Our family listens to this quite often in the car on our way to Grandma and Grandpa's and everyone is listening quietly so they don't miss what he is saying. If you enjoy John's way of bringing the scriptures to life and sharing wonderful messages then you will enjoy this too!
