“Destroy an entire nation!” protested the American. “How would you suggest we manipulate the political consequences of that?”
“We won't destroy them,” replied the Saudi prince. “We will move them. There is an enormous difference, my friend.”
“But they will not be moved.”
“That is their choice. If they stay, they will die, but I cannot choose for them. We can't make them be reasonable, though Allah knows we have tried.”

Gripping and Inspiring

I've got to say, this book is really, really good. As a fan of this particular style of fiction, I was extremely impressed with his sequence of events. Also, as a resident of the DC Metro area and a politician, I was intrigued by the geopolitical accuracy and the author's knowledge of how Washington works. In fact, the elements presented in this storyline are almost identical to things I have written about for years (nothing published, of course). I think Bro. Stewart is closer to the truth than most readers realize. This is a great 'middle book'. I finished it in hours.

A must read for every reader. Chris Stewart makes this series so realistic just like the way it may have happened all the way through how it could happen. This series has opened my eyes to really being prepared for the unknown.

THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE VOL 2: WHERE ANGELS FALL by Chris Stewart This second installment of Chris's mesmerizing last days series, leaves you wan ting more. We see Ammon, Luke, Sam and Elizabeth battling evil in our mortal world. With General Neil Brighton, his two twin sons Ammon and Luke and his adopted son Sam striving for good, Neil strives to understand what is troubling his close friend, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Sam sees the horror of war as a soldier in the Special Ops Forces and sees much more than he ever bargains for in Iran. Elizabeth is born into an Iranian family and lives the humble life of a village girl, staying close to her father and to God. Ammon and Luke learn the hard way to rely on God to get through life's hardest struggles. I can't wait to see how Elizabeth (Azadeh) rejoins with her brothers in Vol. 3. This series is absolutely thrilling, is a page-turner and is more amazing, as what is unfolding between these pages, is unfolding in front of our eyes!!!! This book is very interesting, exciting, tense. A sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat kind of story. Thought provoking regarding events that so closely resemble recent & current events, and future possibilities. I read it in short doses to get a good feel for the whole story, so I wouldn't miss anything & so I could ponder on the very real concepts of good & evil. There is a very good story of love and commitment, and though many sad & destructive events are depicted, there is still hope that good can and will triumph over evil. If you're looking for real adventure, a grab-you-in-the-first-chapter book, this is it.

Very, very hard to put down. Start reading it early in the evening - otherwise you'll be up until 1 a.m. like me! Although this is a work of fiction, I'm learning about the gospel too. For instance, the Spirit saying to one of the characters you have to start by helping yourself before I can really help you. And how the evil one works in our lives. I can't wait to complete the series.
