Nice melodies conceal a do-it-on-your own philosophy.
Lyrics like this:
"This mountain wasn't nearly the first one that I'd moved
God had seen my victory
Every time I put my weaknesses behind me
And I close my eyes and let His mercy find me" God only offers His mercy after we have conquered our weaknesses?
For a "Christian" artist Cherie doesn't focus on the hope of what Christ does for us, but rather on what we have to do to get to His grace.
Where is the beautiful grace that is proclaimed in the Bible?
"But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." Romans 5:8
