In The Holy Temple, President Boyd K Packer examines in appropriate detail the doctrines and practices which surround that holy building, with special emphasis on their implications for the individual Church member. He shares the Lord's invitation: "Come to the temple," setting forth the requirements for attendance, including preparation through worthiness. Writing directly to the reader, President Packer sensitively and authoritatively discusses the endowment with its sacred covenants and elevating symbolic instruction, the sealing ordinance, and other temple ceremonies. This special illustrated edition is filled with beautiful photographs and paintings of temples around the world.
