S. Michael Wilcox received his PhD from the University of Colorado and recently retired after thirty-seven years as an institute instructor for the Church Educational System. I've yet to read a more understandable, yet comprehensive book on how to appreciate and understand the beauties of the Temple experience and avoiding unnecessary perplexing feelings that often come to a first time participant. A perfect book for first timers & a must read for those of us who've attended regularly, but may be missing out on much that we could be learning and experiencing!

This is truly a gem! I've listen to it a number times while driving. It makes me want to go to the Temple right then and go home and start my genealogy. My husband and I listen to the first CD on our way to the temple for the first time in a while. It really help.

I cannot speak highly enough about these CD's. Brother Wilcox has such a strong testimony of the temple which comes across as he speaks. My husband and I have listened to these CD's over and over in the car whenever we travel (especially to the temple as we live over 5 hours away) Each time we listen to them we gain greater insights into the the temple and how regular temple worship affects every aspect of our lives for the better. We will use this as a basis for many family home evenings and dinner table discussions. I have recommended these CD's to everyone I know !!

This is the finest Church book I've ever read. Bro. Wilcox is an extremely gifted teacher, and this is, in my opinion, his finest work. This book is unique in that it gives great doctrinal insights while also giving extremely moving personal experiences. In doing that, the book reaches both the scholarly and the general audience of the Church.

The "House of Glory" CDs gave me a quantum leap forward in understanding my temple experience, even after more than 30 years of attendance. Brother Wilcox has provided outstanding insight and depth in this work on the temple, while keeping it simple enough for all of us to understand. It has opened my eyes to so much more than I ever understood before, and fueled a desire to return often. I recommend it to everyone I know.

Since I started reading this book my temple attending experiences as well my attitude towards the temple have improved so much. Brother Wilcox is a gifted individual and his insights on the scriptures together with his experiences and display of love for the Lord have enriched my life and helped me to get closer to the Savior. Totally worthwhile and a great companion for Gospel study.
