These seven lectures were originally prepared for the School of the Elders in Kirtland, Ohio. They were deemed of such doctrinal worth that they were published in Latter-day Saint scripture from 1835 to 1921 as the forepart of the Doctrine and Covenants. These Lectures on Faith were considered the “doctrine,” while the revelations made up the “covenants” of that inspired book.
This special Collector's Edition of an LDS classic also includes an essay on the history of the lectures, six discussions on the lectures from prominent LDS scholars, a treatise on faith written by Orson Pratt, along with numerous beautiful illustrations by well-known LDS artists.

Beautiful and powerful book
John, TX - September 12, 2008
The Lectures on Faith are extremely insightful and a must read for anyone seeking to further their understanding of what it means to have faith in Jesus Christ. This important work is further highlighted by the wonderful artwork and binding of this edition. This is the second version of the Lectures I have purchased, and is definitely my favorite.
