Before winning over our hearts as Jared Phelps, the seemingly cursed returned missionary in The R.M., or the loveable Elder Hezekiah Calhoun in The Best Two Years or Oberon Winley in Saints and Soldiers, Kirby Heyborne was on track for a career in the music business. After over 10 years of writing and performing, he was courted by some of the largest companies in the music business. In the end he chose acting. He never lost his love for music and performing and is very excited to finally release his first CD, Inside. Drawing comparisons to the music of Peter Breinholt and John Mayer, Inside is fun, feel good "pop" music, without the worries about lyrics and messages. Kirby Heyborne fans will love Inside.

Kirby Makes Each CD Special

I have all three of Kirby's albums--and am looking soooo forward to number 4--I heard it's coming out after summer '07. Anyway, each one is great. This first one is more pop sounding, the second one is more folk--but in a good way--and the Christmas one is a good mix of many styles. I have all three and I would tell anybody to get all three. When you don't feel as mellow, whip out this one--more pop. When the holidays roll around, blow the dust off 'Merry White Tree...'. I can't wait to see what the next one is, but this one is great!!! Yeah, I heard that 'Won't Get No Lovin'' song was about him being upset with his (now) wife liking other boys when they were in the 9th grade! I love it! His lyrics are so clever.
