Incredible and Touching

I have listened to this CD, given as a gift from my sister, probably 50 times and I never grow weary of it. The life of Joseph Smith is so beautifully portrayed in the narration and music, I am almost always moved to tears at some point in listening. Rob Gardner's adaption of 'Savior, Redeemer of My Soul' is a personal favorite and his arrangement of 'Praise to the Man' inspires joy to my soul. You will love it. This young man (only 24 years old) has a great gift.
Testimony building

I showed this DVD performance to my young adult Sunday school class, preparing them for the Book of Mormon section '08. We ended with the powerful testimony of the three witnesses. The following week one of my young men cornered me to ask why I didn't continue showing the video. He was so moved the previous week that he came back the next week just to see the rest. The editing is choppy at times, but the orchestrations, voices and narration are inspiring and are sure to lift the spirits and strengthen testimonies.
Amazing!!!

I was privileged to participate in a production of this work. I had not heard of Rob Gardner or of this particular work until I was sought out as one of the principal violinists of the orchestra that was putting together the show. As a Church Member, being in this production was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and my testimony of Joseph Smith and the restoration was increased exponentially by participating. As a musician, I continue to be amazed by the sophistication of Rob Gardner's composition each time I play this work. It is definitely worth owning and enjoying this CD and/or DVD.
