King Benjamin

King Benjamin was a dynamic leader who ruled righteously. He is best known for his great speech given atop a high tower to the people of Nephi. The multitude was so large, all could not hear King Benjamin's spiritual and persuasive words, so they were written down and circulated. In The Book of Mormon, one of the most powerful themes that he taught was: "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God." (Mosiah 2:17)
