worth the hassle of hiding it from my dad!

Customer, - October 05, 2010

I must admit it was with apprehension that I bought this book. I mean, I really don't consider myself one of the girls that read sappy romances, think about boys all the time, and I'm not the kind who can't possibly go to prom without a date. In reality I'm pretty down-to-earth and I don't care much for dating.

But there was this one boy... yeah, I see your eyes rolling. The point is I got the book and read it sneakily at night, knowing that if my sister saw it, she was going to laugh her head off, and if my dad saw it, I would be mocked about it for eternity, and never be able to live it down.

Lucky for me, neither of them know about the books existence, and I believe the book was worth it. Not because it snagged me the guy (it didn't, I'm too tongue-tied around him to implement anything I learned, quite embarrassing) but because its not just about getting a date. It taught me about being more confident, and in general more comfortable around boys and how I act…
