Internet pornography has become an elephant-sized problem. It has quietly become one of the leading causes of divorce, the primary sexual educator of our youth, and the fuel for a variety of addictive behaviors. Using practical, non-technological strategies, Dr. Jill Manning encourages Latter-day Saint women as she teaches them about the four key areas in the fight against pornography. First, being aware of the threat. Second, taking a stand. Third, connecting with others who are committed to protecting home and family. Fourth, putting to use the unique characteristics and strengths of women. It's time to teach the truth. It's time to take a stand. It's never too late to start.

  • Includes bonus DVD, "The Uncensored Truth about Pornography" (presentation from Time Out for Women, 35 minutes)
  • Teaches why LDS homes are particularly vulnerable to pornography, and how to reclaim the home front
  • Discusses three pornography-based lies that especially affect young women
  • Demonstrates how to teach children the truth about marital intimacy versus the lies perpetuated by pornography
  • MormonTimes.com article about Let's Talk About the Elephant in the Room by Emily Schmuhl (Click Here)

LDS Women Can Protect Their Families from Pornography

    Cindy, AE - June 28, 2011

Highly credible in her field as a family therapist - specializing in the treatment of pornography addiction, Dr. Manning tells us that internet pornography has become the primary source of sex education of our youth. That's a disturbing revelation - him teaching us all about our bodies - he who has no body. She calls it Satan's sex-ed. ....
In true Satanic style, the pornographic industry has hijacked the world "censorship" - while crying out against censorship that stands for decency and responsibility, it blatantly 'censors' the consequences of the behavior it depicts, as well as the joys of life and marriage, and the beauty and power and light of women.
It is the strength of women that she appeals to in this great war we are all involved in - literally for the souls of our children, and all that is good and decent. She bears fervent testimony and raises a standard - as she empowers women to this cause.
