When Maggy Fuller, a rebellious and troubled teenager, receives an old-fashioned letter in the mail from an unknown source, she can't imagine who could have so many wonderful things to say about her. After all, she is all but invisible to her father and a disappointment to her mom. So she tracks down the mysterious author of the letter and uncovers someone she has never met—but someone who seems to know her better than anyone else in her life.
An award-winning film from Christian Vuissa, the director of The Errand of Angels, One Good Man, and Joseph Smith: Plates of Gold, this heartwarming movie could very well change your life.

Sweet Story, Great Message
by Roger - reviewed on October 24, 2012
Without hitting you over the head with the message, the story in this movie shows how important kind words can be to anyone, especially those we love most. The lost art of communication and letter writing are revived with this entertaining and touching story! I watched it with my daughter and it sparked great conversation about how we can do small things for people and make their day. Highly recommend this for families with kids 8+.

I have to say that this was an excellent movie. I loved the message. It made me want to go get my cards and envelopes and start writing messages to people who I know need a bit of cheer in their day. This will be highly recommended.... loved it!!
WONDERFUL family film
by Customer - reviewed on September 14, 2012
I am so cautious about movies claiming to be family friendly - only be dismayed by the content. I was lucky enough to be invited to the premier of this film and I loved it more than I can say. I have just ordered 4 copies as Christmas gifts for some friends and family. The story idea is simply beautiful and the acting is fresh and genuine. I especially liked the chemistry between the mother and daughter. I sent a note to the actress who plays the mom, Pam Eichner and she sent me such a sweet note back! If you are looking for a lovely film to share with family and friends, this would be it! A great message for kids of all ages and a nice reminder for all of us. This film is special on every possible level.
Best Movie Ever!!!!

Finally! A movie I absolutely loved from the beginning until the end. In fact, I was brought to tears not by just the movie itself, but also by knowing that it was over (I'm getting choked up again). I was also fortunate to have been in "the right place at the right time"...twice! I just happened to be walking by when they were filming this movie in two separate locations and occasions. On the second occasion, they actually had me participate in the scene (you'll see me walk by at 38:22--38 minutes and 22 seconds into the film). It was such a pleasure to meet some of the wonderful crew and cast. So of course I was anxious to see the final product. You will not be disappointed with this film and its message.
