Product Description
When his parents go on a trip, 6-year-old Devin (introduction Isaiah Smith) is too sad to say his prayers. To help him understand the importance of praying, Devin’s grandpa (Frank Gerrish) enlightens him with the story of Daniel and the Lions. Devin’s imagination brings to life the story of Daniel (Casey Elliott) and a trio of villains (Matthew Bellows, Jeff Stevens and Matt Dobson) who do everything they can to get rid of him. When they convince King Darius (George Dyer) to sign a degree that would put anyone who prays into a den of lions, and undaunted Daniel continues to pray not once, but three times a day. As Daniel faces the mighty Rex and six other very hungry lions (led by none other than Daniel Beck himself), he discovers just how important prayer can be.

Stunningly brilliant! Surely these people are inspired of God to produce this type of family entertainment. In a world where most things seem to be eroding family values these are a shining light of unashamed goodness. God bless you Liken!

I love how we can learn as well as laugh in this one! I love the idea of vegetarian lions!
Totally worth the money.

We loved it. All of the liken videos are entertaining and funny. I worried when we first heard about them because we thought they might be inappropriately funny, but they aren't. Liken blends comedy and spirituality very well. Daniel and the Lions has some great singers and songs. My favorite part is seeing the decree of King Darius from the viewpoint of the lions. THe head lion is played by Daniel Beck who is fantastic. Casey Elliot, who plays Daniel, does a great job singing and acting. I love it when Liken has George Dryer singing and acting. My children love the songs 'meats on the table tonight', 'I,m a vegetarian now', and 'Give us a break.' But I love the songs by Dryer and Elliot. A talented cast and a perfect tie in to a little boy who realizes the power of prayer. I love it.
Delightful!

I love the Liken series, and Daniel is one of the most fun. The Lions are fantastic, and the story is good. Best of all: the great music.
Great Family Night Entertainment!

Wow! I was not expecting this good of a production. Not only that, great job to Liken for adding character and comedy to the story of Daniel and the Lions Den. Rather than being a disturbing show that could have traumatized the kids, this entertained them. Even the youngest laughed at Daniel as he talked to, teased, and played with the lions. The funniest part for the entire family was when Daniel was leaving the den, he said to the lions "See you guys around. And Charlie, say hello to the wife and kids." I still laugh anytime I think of it. Hats off to the great people at Liken for another wonderful film.
