Linda Eyre and Shawni Eyre Pothier are a dynamic team. Linda lives her mission statement, which is to empower mothers by helping them be “Empowerers.” She is cofounder of home-based Joy Schools, and she has authored or co-authored many books with her husband, Richard, including the New York Times #1 bestseller Teaching Your Children Values. She and her husband are also worldwide speakers and advocates for the family. Shawni Eyre Pothier received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and is an accomplished writer, speaker, and photographer. But what she values and loves most is that she gets to be a mother and she takes her job very seriously. She strives to promote joy in the journey of Motherhood on her blog (71toes.blogspot.com). She and her husband, David, make their home in Phoenix, Arizona.

Shawni and her mother, Linda, are the co-authors of A Mother’s Book of Secrets: Keys to Making Motherhood Memorable, Meaningful, and Magnificent. Linda is the mother of nine and grandmother of eighteen, and Shawni is the mother of five.
