In 2011, Jimmermania swept the country as fans everywhere watched Jimmer Fredette take college basketball by storm.
But Jimmer’s story started long before his phenomenal college basketball career. It started years before his top-ten draft into the NBA. His story started when, at a young age, he learned some of life’s most important lessons: hard work, determination, and the influence of a supportive family. It was then that Jimmer, only a few years old, made the decision to one day play in the NBA.
The Making of Jimmer is packed with one-on-one interviews with the legendary athlete, never-before-seen-footage of his childhood, teen years, and college basketball career, along with conversations with family and friends who knew him from the beginning.

This is a fun dvd to watch. It's interesting and fun to see Jimmer as a child and see how his career began. He was so motivated even as a young child. His family is so supportive of him and has helped him to be where he is today. I love that he has a close relationship with his family. I also love that he is strong in the gospel and doesn't let his fame get to his head. I think he is a great example.
