Missionary Action Figure Set, #2 (Action Figure)
by Latter-day Designs (Distributor)
Mormon Missionaries are representatives of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They labor in cities throughout the world, sharing the joy found in the truths of The Book of Mormon and The Bible. In Matthew 28:19, the Savior taught, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations.” At 19 to 21 years of age, missionaries volunteer and pay their own way for 18 months or 2 years to teach the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. “Now behold, a marvelous work is about to come forth among the children of men. Therefore, O ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength. . . ”(Doctrine and Covenants, section 4:1-2) Love them!! Feed them!! A Big Hit
by Tim - reviewed on January 05, 2011
These were a complete hit with my youngest this last Christmas. My oldest son had just returned from his mission to Delaware. The two of them would re-enact mission experiences and rehearse the discussions using these action figures. My youngest is preparing for baptism in a couple of months but you'd think he was on his way to the mission field. My oldest is back at BYU but his younger brother still showing off everything he learned. My only complaint is that the missionaries aren't wearing their full suits and the blue tie is a little loud. But otherwise they look great and are well made. Looking forward to adding to our set!
