As one of the newest and freshest artist to enter the LDS Music Industry, Lauri Carrigan is again proving to be a new talent not to be overlooked as she releases her second album in as many years that is being heralded as "inspiring" and "brilliant."

Five time Pearl Award nominee (Safety Of His Arms) and 2005 recipient of the prestigious Best of State award in Utah for Best Individual Vocalist, Carrigan, a mother of four, draws creative influence for her new album from her experiences as a mother to express the love between a mother and child. Carrigan's title track; "A Mother's Heart" is a touching and tender ballad that captures the instant bond and love between a mother and new born child bundled and lying in her arms for the very first time.

Uplifting and inspirational, this new release includes a celebration of love for the Savior, Jesus Christ, with the smooth melody of the hit song "His Name Is Jesus" and a pair of contemporary toe tapping and stirring, pop songs that will make you want to stand up and rejoice in the gospel. Also included is a soothing rendition of the long time favorite Hymn, "Where Can I Turn for Peace" that includes a loving and gentle children's choir warmly arranged and directed by Carrigan.
