My All Is Thine

For many years as a choir director I have used the music of gifted composer Sally DeFord and marveled at her talent and her generosity as she has provided her music to choirs free for non commercial use. It is amazing to witness how she, with good humor and graciousness. side-steps the spotlight and deflects attention to the message of the music. This CD by Allyse Smith Taylor and Marvin Goldstein brings that message to a new, wonderful level, it is truly a conduit for the spirit, touching the very soul. It's hard to pick a favorite, but the title song, "My All Is Thine" is probably first, running a close second is the duet with British singer James Loynes, "Because He Lives". This CD is now a treasured part of my music collection.
