Just right for my little grandchildren

I am excited by this book! I have five little grandchildren that I want to be assured are taught the correct principles of the gospel. My First Book of Mormon Stories are a great way to get even the youngest minds interested in the gospel eager to learn even more. Thanks to Sister Buck and her talent for writing not down but right to their age level. Keep these books coming.
Great for Preschoolers

My family has about 5 of these books now, and my kids just love them. They always want to take them to church, but they're a little heavy for that, so we save them for bedtime. They're great for "scripture study," because each page is a different story. For example, in the OT version, page 1-2 is the pre-existence, then I think the very next page is the creation, then Adam and Eve, etc. So for little ones with very little patience, they're the perfect way to introduce them to the scriptures, and then my husband and I just expound a little on each story.
Love these books!

I love these books by Deanna Draper Buck. My kids received this book from their grandparents and they loved learning the Book of Mormon stories this way. The Easter Bunny brought each of them a different book in this collection for their Easter baskets, and we have a wonderful "mini scripture study" each night before bedtime. They love getting quizzed on the stories and learning how they all fit together. These books are wonderful and at a level my young kids can easily understand. I do really wish their was a prophet book or early church history book to go with this wonderful group.

It's a little much for a 2 year old; I can only read one story/page at a time. It would be great for a 2 year old if there were flaps to flip to keep her interest and she could participate in the reading process.
Great for kids.

We use this to read scriptures with our kids and it's nice because it has pictures and gives a brief version of the scripture story.
