My Soul Hungered

At the 2003 Pearl Awards broadcast vocalist Barry Hansen captivated the audience with his powerful rendition of the beloved seminary song My Soul Hungered. Singer-songwriter Jenny Phillips called his Pearl Awards performance 'awesome.' Barry has teamed up with his award-winning arranger/producer brother Greg Hansen to deliver his debut solo recording, My Soul Hungered; an extraordinary CD with powerful messages of prayer, faith, conversion, obedience and testimony of Jesus Christ. Barry's splendid baritone voice delivers moving performances of favorites from songwriters such as Michael McLean, Kenneth Cope, Lex and Julie de Azevedo, and Hilary Weeks; and brings life to compelling new music.
