I saw the original play as a kid. I have the soundtrack, which my whole family loves, so I am glad they put it on DVD.

I can't wait to get this DVD. I first heard about 'My Turn on Earth' when I was in college in the late 70's. My friend in the military who served in the Philippines gave the cassette tape to me while babysitting for her kids. I really loved the music and to this day I still can remember all the lyrics. I listened to it throughout my college days and I am still enjoying it to this day.

My sister and I grew up watching this (albeit on VHS, not DVD) so I was very excited when it was released on DVD. I love the story, the music and the chance I'll have to share it with my children now.
Music is Great - Story is Horrible

I purchased this video because I have always enjoyed the music. I was very disappointed in the story. Now I wish that I would have bought the CD instead. James D. Budd

I have loved this show for many years

I have loved this show for many years. It is a shame that it is not performed live more often. To satisfy my craving for this wonderful story and the songs, I am glad that they have come out with the DVD version. I have this on video and it's nice to have an upgrade! The songs are timeless (not 70's music like some people say). :)

I don't like this.

This story teaches false doctrine that is not harmless. Compare the story line with page 8 of February 2010 Ensign and Lesson 3 in Gospel Principles. I don't want my children to think that we shouted for joy after our brothers and sisters lost a war and were cast out. That is only one of the problems. On my mission, there were problems because missionaries taught this doctrine. I love using music and theatre to teach, but this one is awful.
