[Director Christian Vuissa] never ceases to astound me with his ability to keep things real and genuine while paying the kind of attention to detail it takes to keep the audience anxiously engaged. The script, also compliments of Vuissa, is simple and organic while still maintaining a certain charm and authenticity that keeps you smiling when they smile and crying when they cry. — Mariah Proctor, Meridian Magazine

This movie is a stirring representation of LDS life, with motifs ranging throughout the movie. It is a very tasteful and intimate portrayal of what life is for an LDS father and family and a film that both members of the LDS faith and non-members can appreciate. — Jason Sweat, Daily Universe

Watch the Trailer below.

Aaron Young is a good man. But even good men can be put to the test. Just when it seems his life can’t get more complicated, it does. Pressures with his job are reaching the breaking point, one daughter is struggling to find herself, and another has found a fiancé — complete with future in-laws who are anything but supportive. To top it all off, Aaron has been called to be the bishop of his ward. At this pivotal point in his life, Aaron wonders if anything he does helps the people closest to him. A warm and deeply moving film about the choices and complications of everyday life, One Good Man is the story of an unsung hero trying to do the right thing, regardless of the consequences.

good description of life changes

Dianna, MO - January 16, 2012

one good man...a family is enjoying the simplicity of life then surprise. yes, a father becomes a bishop and we see his changes and the family changing. the daughter making an eternal choice, an honorable son returning home from his mission, a son receiving his mission call, a daughter choosing disobedience and learning the consequences. an elderly sister feeling wanted. a funny friend not understanding life in an LDS home. so many decisions being made. this film shows how families pull together and work together even with the bumps in life. i like how the father helped serve the in laws by staying with them during the sealing ceremony . that would take so much to not be with a child during this but knowing you are serving our Savior by setting an example
