Each of us has experienced circumstances in our lives when the only person we can turn to is God. Whether in times of greatest need or times when our hearts have been filled with gratitude for the blessings we have received and for the lessons we have learned, we have felt constrained to kneel before Him and express our desires, thanks and praise. These are very poignant and important occurrences in our lives, and numerous songs have been written attempting to capture these moments of greatest need and joy. These "prayer songs" comprise some of the most beautiful, powerful and dramatic ever written. This album is comprised of these songs depicting unique situations in life that give rise to an earnest, sincere and heartfelt communication with the Divine, and the answer that is sure to come.

The best way to describe the sound and feel of this album is "spiritual Broadway." The album song list is a collection of original, LDS/Christian, hymn, and inspirational Broadway songs.

The music is dramatic, moving, and capable of touching the heart and soul of the listener thru the poignant, spiritual lyrics and stories of the songs. The vocal styles on the album range from pop to classical. This combined vocal and music sound is very similar to Josh Groban, only more dramatic and spiritual.

The arrangements and orchestrations on the album are high quality, powerful, moving and uplifting. They include the sweeping, grand and breathtaking sound of full orchestra; and the gentle, beautiful and simple sound of piano and strings to compliment and enhance each song's important message and feeling.
