The Church's Achievement Days program challenges girls ages 8-11 to achieve specific goals in a dozen areas, including Arts and Crafts, Education and Scholarship, Family History, Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Service and Citizenship, Spirituality, and Sports and Physical Fitness.

Mary Ross and Jennette Guymon have put together a fun-filled, information-packed book focusing on each of these goals. Using this volume, Achievement Days leaders will never be at a loss when it comes to choosing activities or projects to help the girls meet their goals. Following detailed lesson plans, the girls can do everything from performing a puppet play, to organizing their rooms and closets, to creating a delicious dinner, to exploring career options, to learning to save money--and on and on!

As a leader, whether you like things simple or more elaborate, these activities are designed with your needs in mind. You can do a little or a lot with these amazingly versatile plans and ideas. Whatever your choice, you'll all be in for a great time!

FANTASTIC!!!

Maria, UTAH - November 02, 1999

As an Achievement Day leader with no ideas to start with, this book was a FANTASTIC HELP!!!! We liked the idea of the bandalo, but we wanted something more permanent. So we made fabric bandalos, copied the balloons on stiff pellum with a transfer pen (then cut them out to be used as award patches), and copied the name area with a tranfer pen and fabric crayons. We have used these bandalos now for 2.10 years. The girls love them!!
