A well written book, but I disagree with the message.

This novel was well written, as are most of Jack Weyland's books. I however take exception with his treatment of the problem of illegal immigration. In the story he has the main character helping an illegal immigrant mother. This on the surface is nothing but noble, yet the message is that if you are helping someone, even if that person is breaking the law, it's OK. Identity theft and illegal immigration however are very real and serious problems in the U.S. I also didn't like the portrayal of ICE agents as thugs, who go around bullying illegal aliens and those helping them break the law. I served a mission in Central America, and I love the culture and the people, but I am 100% opposed to illegal immigration. I hope that Mr. Weyland will review his thoughts on this subject, it may seem innocuous but the effects have been devastating to our country and culture.
