The Spirit of the Lord is an essential and identifying feature of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Without it, one cannot have a true testimony of the gospel and its saving ordinances. It is essential for every person to know where and how to seek the Spirit, to receive through the Holy Ghost confirmation of gospel truths and personal decisions.
