This book is very informational and well written.

Everybody hears about the victims of serial killers, the serial killers themselves, and even the family members of the victims. What about the family members of the serial killers? Shattered Silence is a very sad but wonderfully written true story about the daughter of a serial killer. I have often wondered about the poor children of those people known as serial killers. How are they affected? How were they raised? How are they doing now? What are they doing now?

Melissa Moore digs down deep within herself and gives us a very personal story of her life. Through this book we can see the effects of the decisions of parents. Shattered Silence is captivating from the start. It is very easy to get into Melissa’s character and feel what she is feeling. We are able to know what it would be like if we actually had some kind of experience with a serial killer, which would be very unfortunate. This book also gives us a look into the serial killer’s life as well.…
