About the Author
Sheri Dew is a native of Ulysses, Kansas, and a graduate of Brigham Young University. She has authored several books, including the biographies of two presidents of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Presidents Gordon B. Hinckley and Ezra Taft Benson. Her most recent books are God Wants a Powerful People and Saying It Like It Is. Sheri was named the president and CEO of Deseret Book Company in March 2002. She also serves as a member of both the BYU Marriott School of Management’s National Advisory Council and the President’s Leadership Council for BYU-Hawaii. In March 2003 the White House appointed her as a member of the U.S. Delegation to the Commission on the Status of Women and Girls at the United Nations.

I love these talks and love this woman!! She has been an inspiration to me for many years. I've heard her talk in person, have her books, and have enjoyed owning many of her talks. It's wonderful to have them all in one collection. I highly recommend this!

I love hearing Sheri Dew speak. She speaks with such boldness and conviction. After listening to a couple of talks from this collection, I felt like I could do anything. I highly recommend this collection.

From the beginning of Sister Dew's history of speaking to women I have loved her ability to teach, love, and inspire all of the women of the church from the young to the less young!Years ago as a Relief Society President we used her words from General Conference in monthly meetings to help teach and encourage the women of our ward. Her lessons of life were always warmly received. I recently ordered her collection of cds and the dvd. I listen to them as I am riding in the car. Although I am familiar with a lot of the talks I find that I learn something new each time that I listen to a cd and they help me in teaching the young single adults in the wards that meet in our building. Sister Dew is a blessing to millions of women. She makes us laugh, cry, study and search the scriptures, and gives us hope as she spotlights the teachings of the Savior, our Heavenly Father and the Prophets. Thank you Sister Dew for your diligence in keeping the commandments and sharing your light and the Light of the Savior with all of us.

I have always loved Sheri Dew books but not read all of them. My mother-in-law graciously gave this to all of her daughters for Christmas. I was excited about it but it has far exceeded my expectations. I have put it in my car CD player that holds several at a time and while I am driving to work or on errands, I can listen to parts here and there and I have been most uplifted. I now look forward to my time in the car and what else I will learn from her wisdom. Worth it's weight in gold!

I am so grateful for Sister Dew's Collection. I listen to it while I iron, clean, cook, drive, work in the yard, whenever I am alone. It inspires me to be a better, kinder person and gives me concrete ideas on how to invite The Spirit into my life and grow closer to my Heavenly Father.
