I would say 4.5 stars yet I don't have that option. I loved the original Singles Ward and was wary of what this one might bring. I was really plesantly surprised. The movie was often laugh out loud funny, the situation with non-member parents and the temple was handled with great respect and overall it was a genuinely good movie, well done. Halestone said they would only do a sequel if it was worth telling, this one most certainly was! A must watch!

This movie has some funny parts to it, but I prefer the first movie. A part of it is that Jonathan decides to make a movie of his life in the Single's Ward. It's funny to see them make fun of themselves.

I am so glad my single's ward wasn't that bad. I thought it was a funny look into what an LDS wedding might be. It does show what it can be like for the family members who aren't members and how being sealed in the temple could be a difficult decision. It was a little over the top on the "mormon" culture especially the part where the non-members attend sacrament meeting and the parents are giving the kids sandwiches, and cereal. Wow!! I am so glad that I don't see that in my ward.

Disappointment compared to the first

I enjoyed the first Singles Ward. The acting, camera work, characters, LDS humor...it was all there. I anticipated the sequel and bought it shortly after the release. I was very disappointed. The main female character doesn't have the acting skills to "talk to the camera" as the guy in the first one. Kirby's character is basically the same from the R.M. I advise a rental before purchasing. Two thumbs down.

I honestly thought this was a really good LDS movie. I appreciate the humor in it, but I also thought they did a great job in explaning the church and our beliefs. With all the awful movies out there, I thought this was refreshing!!

Hilarious I thought this movie was hilarious it was actually alot better than the first SW movie cause it's got alot more funny characters and I love the funny mormon jokes what's funny is it totally relates little bit to my singles ward it's funny I love Kirby Heyborne he's awesome the whole movies great I would recommend this movie to anyone.

The first time I watched this show, I wasn't sure if I liked it as well as the first. Now that I have seen it a few more times, it has definately grown on me. The characters are great. I get a good laugh each time I watch it.

Okay....so when I heard this movie was coming out I was super excited -- Maybe the anticipation was too much and led to far too high expectations. I found the story line kind of weak and the funny bits kind of juvenile. But it was still a pretty good LDS film -- just not as "I could watch this over and over again and quote like crazy in my daily life" good the way Singles Ward was. Too bad.

I was disappointed. In some ways I wonder how someone could make it. I expect I would be proud to say I made anything, but if I were a professional, I wouldn't want to admit making Singles Ward 2. Up until the end of the movie when the main female character took back what she said about the singles ward I felt that she was making far too many mean comments. I thought the comments in the first movie were much funnier. They also were done much more cleverly. In a candy machine, behind the medicine cabinet. They could have at least had her looking into the book holder in the church benches. I didn't feel like they gave this movie much thought. The acting was fine but the script was lacking. I really liked kirby, I always do, and the father of the bride impressed me as simple as his part may have been. My wife bought it and it is part of our collection. I may watch it again to see if it grows on me but we all had a feeling of wanting much more. I purchased Suits on the loose because of it.

This is an incredible addition to the first movie. Coming from a singles ward you can't help but compare people in this movie to the people in your ward. Totally worth it.

WOW That movie was So funny and so good!! its great how they handled the non parents of hers. They made sometimes bad situations and weird ones into Funny ones... I got a kick out of the home teacher part and the church parent with the parents! Laughing Is always great in a movie! I Would highly suggest thisto my friends which I have and they too love it!

I loved this movie. It had the same humor that made me love the first one and I loved that they brought back the same actors. It's quirky and proves that members of the church can find humor in themselves. If you want a movie that can entertain, this is the one.

This movie felt stretched, and I just didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I did the first one. As its own movie, it's okay, but comparing it to The Singles Ward, it's just not that great.

I love this movie! I was skeptical to watch it because after Sons of Provo, LDS humor movies just got worse and worse, but I loved the first one so I had to. Not as funny and certainly not better, but it is my third favorite LDS humor movie, after Singles Ward and Sons of Provo! Any one who does not think this movie is funny has probably never been to a singles ward! The best part is it's funny because it's true. The only part I don't like is I think they went over the top portraying non-LDS parents. They were rich, snobby, and crazy. I thought that part was stupid, but everything else is pretty accurate :)
