It Starts with a Song, Volume 1 (Celebrating twenty-five years of songwriting at BYU)

Noting 25 years of the songwriting program at BYU, Tantara Records has assembled one representative song for each year of the program, spread over two volumes of the new sampler It Starts with a Song. All songs are written by current or former BYU songwriting students, and performed either by the writers, or by well-known singers or bands. Volume 1 features Cherie Call, Ross Boothe with Jarrett Burns, Good Morning Maxfield, Rebecca Lopez singing music co-written with Angel David Lindes, Paul Jacobsen and the Madison Arm, Mindy Gledhill, Kim Simpson, Benton Paul, Hilary Weeks, Mike McClellan, Steven Stewart (our multiple Eurovision entry writer), and Heidi Webster with Andrew Maxfield, Jeff Hinton and Joshua Creek, and Brian Rhodes.
