These three characters are about to embark on a journey that will lead them down into a horrible dungeon, up into a glittering castle, and, ultimately, into each other's lives. And what happens then? As Kate DiCamillo would say: Reader, it is your destiny to find out.

Beautiful story
Stacie, AZ - March 25, 2010
This is a beautifully written story. If you saw the movie, forget it. The book has much more depth to it. I read it with my 10 yr. old to get her started and couldn't stop myself. Rich, deep characters, surprising plot, wonderful life lessons.
