I have ancestors from the Martin handcart company. Reading each story of the four handcart companies reminds me how important our choices are. Sacrifice, diligence, desire to do right, love, endurance, strength, spiritual.
So many stories, so many lives...I have learned much from this book.
After reading this book watch the movie '17 Miracles'.
