About the Author
Emily Freeman took her first creative writing class in high school and has loved writing ever since. She finds great joy in studying the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Her deep love of the scriptures comes from a desire to find their application in everyday life. She is the author of several books, including The Ten Virgins; 21 Days Closer to Christ; and The Promise of Enough. There is nothing Emily enjoys more for breakfast than a bowl of vanilla ice cream, raspberries, and chocolate chips. Other favorites include parades, vacations, firework displays, and going for a long walk with a good friend. Emily and her husband, Greg, live in Lehi, Utah, with their four children, whom she adores.

I fell in love with the Ten Virgins book when it was released last fall and I have given it to all my friends for their birthdays this year. Now for Christmas I'll be giving them the CD!! The music really brings the characters to life through songs every woman can relate to. With music by top LDS artists, including gorgeous interludes by Kurt Bestor, it is everything I hoped it would be. It's a must-have for anyone who loved the book or who loves inspiring, uplifting music!

Honestly, with a name like Tyler Castleton, I expected a better product. The songs aren't very good, and most of the singers are even worse. I was not impressed at all. It seems like it's going for a 'Women at the Well' kind of thing, but fails miserably.

I love this CD! It is kinda like Women at the Well. It goes great with the book, so get that too. It really helps me to identify with how we may resemble each of the virgins...foolish AND wise

I came right home after our beautiful Relief Society Enrichment Evening and our special Ten Virgins program full of gratitude and absolute amazement at how perfect everything turned out! Everyone, and I mean everyone that was there was totally blown away with the entire story and music. There wasn't a dry eye in the chapel. We ended the evening with a sister speaking and bringing it all together for everyone. After she spoke began singing 'When he comes for me' joined by all the other soloists and virgins. It was captivating! The whole experience has been such a testimony builder to myself as well as the 'virgins' and others who performed the program or helped in the planning of it. My daughter just used the same program last night for her YW Evening of Excellence program. It was absolutely beautiful.

I have enjoyed the CD so much, the book is also a great addition to my library. The CD captures the spirit of each virgin within each of us. The book has a wonderful story to it and wonderful pictures. I recommend both!

I have always loved this parable, but this story brought even more meaning to it for me. We preformed this last night for the sisters in my branch, and it was so spiritual! It was such a wonderful evening. Everyone worked so hard and did a beautiful job. The songs are wonderful and very meaningful. I can see myself in so many of the women that are talked about, and it makes me want to try so much harder to be ready when He comes for me.
