About the Author
Scriptures come to life from these books.

If you don't like continuing stories, then you must not watch most television shows. If you don't like to jump between story lines, then you must not watch many movies that are out there. The simple fact is, this book can take you from your time, and into another time. , If you want to know the scriptures, you must continue to read stories that make you feel part of them. Even though this is fiction, it makes no difference. You get to know each character. You can see them as if they are standing in front of you. A person standing in front of you, not a series of words and pages that you try to make into a story. We try to understand the people in our scriptures as Prophets, and understand their words. However, we just can't bring them down to earth enough to love them as people. , This book, 'The Warriors of Cummorah' is another of Chris Heimerdingers ways of showing us the every day actions of our historical beginnings in the church. Who was Moroni? What were some of the members of the church really like that wasn't recorded in the church history? How would we react if we actually met them? , So its continued and a bit frustrating at that.. Isn't life that way???
The LDS "Harry Potter" Series

Brother Heimerdinger's writing improves with each book. This series is as riveting, exciting, and captivating as the Harry Potter books - only BETTER! I don't have to blacken any foul language or explain how it's OK for the hero(s) to lie or steal and get away with it! Uplifting, gripping, and fascinating. It's a little unfair to judge this book alone, it is good to be sure, but will be better with the next book(s) beside it. And, hey, Gerald Lund, JK Rowling, and many other authors use the cliff-hanger approach - it works! We're eager for more, aren't we! Personally I can't wait for the next one to come out and to share it with my family. They are great!
Wow

I'm constantly impressed with how these are written. Maybe that's why I'm not an author. I'm constantly surprised by the different story lines that he comes up with. They are great as part of a series, but each book could also be read on it own.
